The Underachievers returned to Boston yet again on October 17th–this time on tour for their latest release titled Renaissance. The concert started off with loud bangers and energizing lyrics from Warm Brew. The Warm Brew crew got the fans jumping and warmed up for what seemed to be a promising night. Next up, Injury Reserve came on with a slightly different but beautiful synthesis of sounds. Their set included a lot of interesting and experimental sounds that were layered on with lyrical rapping. They covered a variety of sounds from experimental to loud before slowing it down, and bringing out the gold lights and disco ball. Finally, The Underachievers came out banging with a long set of exciting music off their new Renaissance LP. The crowd was packed all night long and the overall ambience was booming beyond Brighton Music Hall and resonated throughout the Boston area.
